Soil pipe weathering collars are used when a soil vent pipe penetrates the roof covering. The weathering collar, also often called a vent sleeve or vent flashing sleeve, sits over the joint where the vent pipe emerges from the lead slate to divert water away and onto the flashing material. The cast iron effect finish on this range has been developed over many years using a specially formulated paint process that cleverly mimics the metal products of yesteryear. It really does look like cast iron but with the maintenance free benefits of modern PVC.
