This generous size provides maximum protection to surrounding surfaces, particularly useful when soldering in tight spaces with flammable materials nearby. This patented cut-out mat is specifically designed for soldering copper pipes from 15-22mm in diameter. Its unique shape with overlap creates a tight, secure fit that wraps completely around the pipe, offering superior protection compared to conventional flat soldering mats. Constructed from woven glass fabric, it's completely asbestos-free and stitched all around for long-lasting durability.
