The Draper Drain Blaster is a manual drain clearing tool designed to unblock sinks, baths and other drainage systems using high-pressure water injection. This simple yet effective device eliminates stubborn blockages without the need for harsh chemicals or professional intervention, making it an ideal solution for plumbers, maintenance contractors and property managers dealing with routine drainage issues. The unit operates by filling with water, placing the 70mm diameter cup over the plughole, and using the plunger mechanism to force water at high pressure into the drain to dislodge blockages. Suitable for recessed wastes only, the blaster provides a quick mechanical solution to common drainage problems. A larger 150mm diameter cup for cleaning toilets and urinals is available separately (Stock No.21838), extending the versatility of the tool. This drain cleaning tool is particularly effective for clearing hair, soap residue and other debris from household and commercial sink and bath drains. The high-pressure water action provides a more powerful clearing force than traditional plungers whilst avoiding the potential pipe damage associated with mechanical drain snakes.
