This design significantly improves heat transfer into the filament, allowing you to increase volumetric flow rates by more than 60%. The result is more consistent extrusion at higher speeds, or the ability to push your slicer’s flow limits to make full use of your printer’s motion system. Unlike many high-speed solutions, this HotEnd maintains strong interlayer adhesion and excellent surface finish. You get faster prints without sacrificing part strength or visual quality. Exceptional Wear Resistance Powered by new ObXiDian® 500 technology, this nozzle is engineered for extreme durability. It is at least five times more wear resistant than previous ObXidian nozzles and significantly outperforms typical hardened steel alternatives. This makes it ideal for abrasive materials such as carbon-filled, glass-filled, and glow-in-the-dark filaments. While no nozzle is completely immune to wear, ObXiDian® 500 dramatically extends service life, reducing maintenance, downtime, and long-term costs. Clean Printing, Fewer Failures The state-of-the-art coating features very low surface energy, helping to prevent molten plastic from sticking to the nozzle. This reduces filament build-up, makes cleaning easier, and lowers the risk of print crashes or cosmetic defects caused by accumulated material. The result is more reliable printing and consistently clean surface quality. Effortless Installation Designed as a direct replacement, this magnetic HotEnd is quick and simple to install. The heater and temperature wiring are already integrated into the toolhead, so upgrading is as easy as unclipping the existing HotEnd and slotting in the new one.
