Description
Design & Materials This PEI build plate is made from flexible spring steel with a textured PEI coating on both sides. Having two usable surfaces doubles the lifetime of the plate and provides consistent first-layer adhesion. The textured finish gives prints a stronger mechanical grip, reducing the risk of warping or lifted edges. Compatibility & Temperature Performance The plate is designed to handle high-temperature printing environments. It works equally well with PLA, PETG, TPU, and extends support to more challenging filaments such as ABS, PA (nylon), PC, and carbon-fiber reinforced materials. Once printing is complete and the bed cools down, parts usually release on their own. If needed, the plate can be flexed gently to help detach the print. Practical Use & Handling Tips Always align the plate correctly on its magnetic base. Keep the surface clean with water or mild detergent; avoid acetone on the PEI coating. For better adhesion with high-temperature filaments, adjust the bed heat accordingly. Allow prints to cool before removing them to protect both the part and the surface. If prints remain stuck, carefully flexing the plate usually frees them.Durability & Maintenance The spring-steel construction keeps the plate flat and resistant to warping during repeated heating and cooling cycles. Thanks to its dual-sided PEI surface, you can flip the plate when one side shows signs of wear, extending its usable life. Over time, normal wear such as scratches or small dents may occur, which does not affect functionality but is considered part of regular use.
