Use it for ABS (with a heated bed) and PLA (hot or cold). You can also use it with other materials such as Metal, Wood, PETG, ABS+ and many others. No additional adhesives such as glue or tape are required. PEI is popular due to its "no-surface-prep" conditions, which make it convenient to work with. Additionally, 3D printing on PEI requires no support rafts as parts adhere directly to the surface without issue. Once laminated onto your glass, simply re-level your 3D print bed and start printing right away. Parts release easily from the surface with almost no effort. PLA does not require heat, but heating the bed to 45 °C helps. After the print, let the plate cool and gently pop the model off. Before each print, wipe the PEI surface with 70–91% isopropyl alcohol to remove grease and residues, ensuring strong adhesion.
