Minimal waste with wipe tower purging To prevent color contamination and reduce waste, the MMU3 uses a compact wipe tower placed beside the print. Filament purges there, and PrusaSlicer even supports wiping into infill or object to further reduce material use. Seamless integration Fully supported by PrusaSlicer’s easy multimaterial paint tools, the MMU3 automates filament changes according to your slicer settings without manual interventions required. Robust, user-friendly design Ground-up firmware rewrite, improved plastic and metal parts, more reliable filament sensing, and a maintenance-friendly selector make the MMU3 far more approachable and durable than its predecessor, the MMU2S. Optimized nozzle configuration While a high-flow nozzle is available on MK4S, pairing the MMU3 with the standard nozzle offers better waste efficiency without compromising speed.
