The Bessey BAN 700 Band Clamp is a versatile clamping solution designed for assemblies requiring even, all-round pressure without damaging delicate materials. Suitable for wood, plastics, non-ferrous metals and ferrous metals, this band clamp delivers uniform clamping force that prevents distortion and maintains workpiece integrity throughout the assembly process. The unique dual-tightening mechanism ensures the tape is tensioned evenly from both sides, distributing pressure uniformly around the entire perimeter or at each corner. This prevents one-sided distortion that can compromise joint quality. Self-locking occurs automatically as the strap is tightened, maintaining consistent tension until deliberately released. The included Vario-angle corners adapt automatically and infinitely to any angle from 60° to 180°, making this clamp ideal for picture frames, cabinet assemblies, and irregular-shaped workpieces. The crank handle can be relocated to suit both right and left-handed users, whilst the integrated rewinding mechanism prevents the strap from tangling during storage. With a clamping range of up to 7 metres, the BAN 700 accommodates both compact joinery work and large-scale assemblies.
