The Bondloc B518 Flexible Gasket Sealant is a red, smooth paste designed for creating durable, flexible gaskets on engines and machinery. This modified urethane acrylate sealant cures when confined between parts to form a tough, flexible seal in place, offering an instant low-pressure seal ideal for demanding automotive and mechanical applications. The thick paste formulation applies easily and is particularly effective for fuel and water pumps, split crankcase assemblies, gearbox covers, and engine timing cam covers. It's also suitable for air compressor end caps, engine thermostats, pump couplings, and fuel tanks on smaller equipment including chainsaws and lawn mowers. This gasket sealant excels at dressing existing gaskets and spacers, providing enhanced sealing performance across a wide temperature range from -55°C to +150°C. With a fixture time of up to 12 hours without activator (or under 2 hours with activator), the B518 offers flexibility in assembly timing whilst delivering reliable long-term performance. The 0.5mm gap fill capability and high viscosity ensure effective sealing on irregular or slightly damaged surfaces.
