The Bondloc B572 Pipeseal is a specialist anaerobic sealant designed for locking and sealing metal pipes and fittings. This white paste formulation cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces, preventing loosening and leakage caused by shock and vibration. What sets this pipeseal apart is its exceptionally slow 60-hour cure time, which allows plumbers and engineers to realign elbows and joints during installation without compromising the seal. The thixotropic nature of the product reduces migration after application, ensuring the sealant stays where it's needed on the substrate. This professional-grade sealant replaces traditional tapes and dopes, offering superior performance for sealing against oils, gases, chemicals, water and steam on most metal substrates. Unlike PTFE tape, it won't shred or tear, eliminating the risk of contamination in your system. The product also lubricates threads during assembly, making installation easier whilst creating a reliable seal. The formulation demonstrates good chemical and solvent resistance to ethanol, motor oil, unleaded petrol and brake fluid, making it suitable for demanding applications across plumbing, heating and industrial pipework systems.
