Description
The Bondloc B577 is a fast-curing anaerobic pipe sealant designed for sealing threaded connections in plumbing and pipework systems. This high viscosity thixotropic gel paste provides rapid pressure resistance, making it ideal for professional installations requiring immediate service. Using an advanced anaerobic curing system, B577 cures rapidly when in contact with metal in the absence of air. The sealant achieves an instant seal to 10 bar pressure, allowing for quick system testing and commissioning. When fully cured, it resists pressures up to 350 bar, providing reliable long-term performance in demanding applications. The Teflon-enhanced formulation offers excellent chemical and solvent resistance, including ethanol, motor oil, unleaded petrol, acetone and brake fluid. This makes it suitable for sealing threaded connections carrying water, oil, gases and most common materials conveyed through pipework systems. The yellow gel paste format ensures easy application and excellent gap-filling properties, accommodating thread tolerances from 0.05mm to 0.4mm. With a maximum operating temperature of +150°C, B577 is suitable for both hot and cold water systems, heating installations and industrial pipework. Note that this product is not suitable for oxygen systems.
