This 250ml satin finish variant of Ronseal Crystal Clear Outdoor Varnish is perfect for smaller projects or touch-up work where you want to maintain wood's natural colour with a subtle sheen. The compact size makes it ideal for garden furniture repairs, small gates, or decorative exterior woodwork, whilst the satin finish provides an attractive low-lustre appearance that enhances the wood's natural grain. The varnish protects from the weather and doesn't yellow over time like traditional varnishes, becoming rainproof in just 1 hour. Before starting, ensure it's a warm, dry day above 10°C and the wood is clean and dry. Always wear a face mask to avoid breathing in any dust during preparation. For stained or varnished wood, sand thoroughly to ensure proper adhesion, clean with white spirit and allow to dry. For new wood, lightly sand the surface, remove dirt or dust with white spirit and leave to dry. Apply 3 coats with 6 hours between each, lightly sanding before the final coat for optimal adhesion and a smoother finish.
