The Knipex ErgoStrip is a versatile 3-in-1 cable stripping tool designed specifically for electricians working with installation cables, data cables and coax cables. This universal stripping tool combines an innovative pistol grip design with precise stripping capabilities, making it ideal for fast and accurate work on common round cables including NYM cables from 3 x 1.5 mm² up to 5 x 2.5 mm². The ergonomic pistol grip design enables easy cutting, stripping and longitudinal cuts of cable sheaths, whilst the conical, slimmed-down tool ends provide better access in confined spaces such as consumer units and back boxes. The stripping device accommodates cross-sections of 0.2, 0.3, 0.8, 1.5, 2.5 and 4 mm², with location ridges that simplify the insertion of single wires for stripping. Built with multi-component construction, the tool features soft plastic zones for comfortable use and a secure grip during extended periods of work. An integrated opening spring and locking device improve handling, whilst the opening aid makes it particularly straightforward to insert coax and data cables.
