Fascia brackets, also known as gutter brackets or gutter clips, are the main supports for the gutter systemAll steel fascia brackets should be fixed at 800mm centres. In areas of potentially heavy snowfall we suggest that 600mm centres are used.Brackets are screwed to the fascia board using 25mm BZP screws. Fascia brackets should also be installed within 150mm of any angle or running outlet to ensure that the fitting is properly supported.The finish is a dipped finish on these fascia brackets as well as other selected fittings in the galvanised range, but not on the lengths of gutter, all components are galvanised first, but some are given an extra coating during the manufacturing process, which is what gives the brackets the sparkly appearance. Galeco have a different production process for some of their galvanised fittings, namely brackets and some angles. It just isn’t possible to press the raw steel into position without damaging the fitting, hence the need for a paint coat.
