This 5 litre Light Oak variant of Sikkens Cetol HLS Plus Translucent Woodstain is the ideal choice for larger exterior projects requiring a natural, subtle timber finish. The 5 litre container provides excellent value for extensive applications such as cladding, decking or fencing projects where a lighter tone is desired. The Light Oak shade offers a gentle enhancement to natural woodgrain with exceptional translucency to showcase timber beauty. This low build, solvent-borne semi-gloss woodstain works both as a base stain and finishing coat, delivering comprehensive protection against mould, algae, UV radiation, peeling and cracking. Its microporous, water-repellent formulation ensures timber breathes naturally whilst repelling moisture. Excellent for use as a finishing coat on exterior softwood and hardwood substrates such as cladding, fascias, soffits, rough sawn timber and fencing. As a base stain, it is readily absorbed into timber to create a sound foundation for finishing coats. Use alone as a complete system on cladding, decking and garden furniture, or as a base stain before applying Cetol Filter 7 Plus or Cetol THB Plus on windows and doors. Should not be used alone as a finish for hardwood timbers.
