This 2.5 litre Mahogany variant of Sikkens Cetol HLS Plus Translucent Woodstain provides excellent coverage for medium-sized exterior projects requiring a warm, classic timber tone. The 2.5 litre container offers superior value for larger applications whilst remaining manageable for site use. The Mahogany shade delivers a rich, reddish-brown finish that is highly translucent to enhance the natural beauty of woodgrain. This low build, solvent-borne semi-gloss woodstain works both as a base stain and finishing coat, providing comprehensive protection against mould, algae, UV radiation, peeling and cracking. Its microporous, water-repellent formulation allows timber to breathe whilst repelling moisture effectively. Perfect for use as a finishing coat on exterior softwood and hardwood substrates such as cladding, fascias, soffits, rough sawn timber and fencing. As a base stain, it is readily absorbed into timber to create a sound foundation for finishing coats. Use alone as a complete system on cladding, decking and garden furniture, or as a base stain before applying Cetol Filter 7 Plus or Cetol THB Plus on windows and doors. Should not be used alone as a finish for hardwood timbers.
