This 1 litre Light Oak variant of Sikkens Cetol HLS Plus Translucent Woodstain delivers a subtle, natural timber tone ideal for smaller exterior projects or maintenance work. The convenient 1 litre size is perfect for windows, doors, garden furniture or touch-up applications where a lighter finish is preferred. The Light Oak shade offers a gentle enhancement to natural woodgrain whilst providing the high translucency that showcases timber beauty. This low build, solvent-borne semi-gloss woodstain works both as a base stain and finishing coat, offering comprehensive protection against mould, algae, UV radiation, peeling and cracking. Its microporous, water-repellent formulation ensures timber breathes naturally. Suitable for use as a finishing coat on exterior softwood and hardwood substrates such as cladding, fascias, soffits, rough sawn timber and fencing. As a base stain, it is readily absorbed into timber to create a sound foundation for finishing coats. Use alone as a complete system on cladding, decking and garden furniture, or as a base stain before applying Cetol Filter 7 Plus or Cetol THB Plus on windows and doors. Should not be used alone as a finish for hardwood timbers.
