Touch dry in just 30 minutes, this versatile dye can be over-coated after two hours with any finish from the Rustins range, making it ideal for time-sensitive projects. Suitable for all types of wood, hardboard, MDF and cork, this fade-resistant formula enhances the natural grain whilst providing lasting colour. The quick-drying properties make it particularly suitable for joinery work, furniture restoration and interior woodworking projects where rapid turnaround is essential. Application is straightforward using either a rag or brush on clean, dry surfaces free from wax, previous coatings and contaminants. The dye can be diluted with up to 30% water to adjust intensity, and usually requires just one application, or two coats for a lighter shade.
