This comprehensive Fast Cut bi-metal hole saw kit features extra cobalt HSS tooth material for enhanced heat and wear resistance, making it ideal for demanding professional use. The advanced 5.5 TPI positive rake tooth design delivers smoother, faster cutting with reduced torque compared to traditional constant pitch hole saws. The 30% increased gullet volume improves material penetration and chip clearance, whilst the cobalt-enriched tooth material extends product life when working with challenging materials. Specifically engineered for cutting 3mm stainless steel, mild steel sheet and tubes, the set also cuts through wood, plastic, plaster and other materials up to 13mm (1/2") thick. The 41mm cutting depth accommodates typical conduit and cable installation requirements, making this kit particularly suitable for electrical contractors and maintenance engineers.
