The Faithfull Soft Grip Bevel Edge Chisel in 13mm (1/2in) is one of the most commonly used sizes for general woodworking and joinery tasks. This blade width is particularly well-suited for cutting standard-sized mortises, hinge recesses, and general paring work, making it an essential tool for any woodworker's kit. Manufactured from drop-forged chrome vanadium steel, the blade is hardened and tempered to exacting standards to ensure the cutting edge remains sharper for longer. For complete accuracy when sharpening, use a honing guide (FAIHG) and an oil, diamond or whetstone.
