The EDMA Rod Cut Threaded Rod Cutter is a specialist cutting tool designed for clean, efficient cutting of threaded rods without sparks, noise or waste material. This professional-grade cutter delivers precise cuts that allow threaded rods to be bolted immediately after cutting, eliminating the need for additional finishing work. Featuring an integral 545mm adjustable ruler for accurate measurement and cutting, this tool is ideal for heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and sanitary engineers working in sensitive environments. Because it produces no sparks during operation, no fire permit is required when working in critical areas, making it particularly valuable for contractors working in occupied buildings or areas with strict safety requirements. The cutter accommodates threaded rods in 6mm, 8mm and 10mm diameters, with capability to cut soft steel up to 6.6 grade (60kg/mm²). It also includes an M7 rod (7mm diameter) 150 thread cutting facility using the 10mm diameter slot. Beyond cutting, the tool can straighten damaged threaded rods, adding versatility to your toolkit. Note that this cutter is not suitable for stainless steel rods.
