The Knipex 95 31 250 Cable Cutter is the compact variant in the range, offering a cutting capacity of 240mm² or Ø 32mm for copper cable, multiple-stranded (500 MCM). This size is ideal for electricians working with standard cable installations where a lighter, more manoeuvrable tool is preferred. The precision-ground, hardened blades deliver clean and smooth cuts without crushing and deformation, maintaining cable integrity. Operating on the ratchet principle, this cutter enables effortless one-hand use with minimal hand force required thanks to the very high transmission ratio. The two-stage ratchet drive makes cutting through cables remarkably easy, whilst the low weight and compact design allow access to confined areas. Safety features include a pinch guard to prevent finger injuries and a fixed handle with support area for putting down the pliers when cutting.
