Description
The TC-AG 18/115 Li is a compact cordless angle grinder which can be used with standard 115mm cutting and grinding discs. Part of the Power X-Change system, it can run on any Power X-Change battery, although for optimum results it is recommended to use a battery with a capacity of 2.5ah or greater. Battery power means the TC-AG 18/115 Li can be used far beyond the reach of extension leads, making it ideal for use in more remote areas as well as those in which trailing electrical cables would be hazardous or obstructive. It has a soft start which means it speeds up to full power in a controlled slope, rather than jolting in the hand, and the handle can be attached in one of three positions for excellent control. To protect the motor, the tool features an overload cut-out, and for improved user safety it is restart protected - this means, for example, that if the switch is left "on" while replacing a spent battery, the tool won't spring back to life as soon as the new battery makes contact.
