The DeWalt McLaren F1 range of 18v cordless tools have a special edition McLaren colourscheme but are fully compatible with the standard DeWalt 18v XR battery platform, meaning they run on the same batteries as the rest of the 18v XR range. The DCF85MP2T Impact Driver is an especially compact machine which can fit into tight spaces thanks to its total body length of just over 10cm. Despite its small size, it can deliver a powerful maximum torque of 205Nm when needed, but also benefits from three different operation modes - including a Precision Drive setting which allows for use in more delicate applications as well.
