Description
The Wera 410 I VDE Insulated 3/8" Drive Ratchet T Handle is a VDE-insulated drive handle designed for safe electrical work at voltages up to 1,000 V AC. Individually tested to IEC 60900 at 10,000 V, it is an essential tool for electricians working on live or potentially live installations where insulated tooling is a requirement. The T-handle geometry allows for the transmission of high tightening and loosening torque, making it well suited to situations where significant force is needed in a compact form. The handle fills the hand naturally, with softly rounded notches that position the fingers securely, delivering ergonomic power transmission during both tightening and loosening tasks. A fine-toothed ratchet mechanism is integrated directly into the handle, enabling fast and precise working without repositioning. The fast-rotating sleeve features recessed sections that allow resistance to be generated by finger pressure alone, so the ratchet can be engaged even when fastener resistance is minimal. A reversing lever allows quick switching between clockwise and anticlockwise directions, and the integrated ball lock secures sockets firmly during use. Compatible with 3/8" VDE bit sockets and sockets from the Wera Zyklop VDE series 8740, 8760, 8767, and 8790, this handle is the ideal pairing for a complete insulated socket set. The coated handle also helps protect sensitive surfaces from contact damage.
