The Bahco ERGO™ Pipe Wrench in 17" / 425mm size offers increased capacity for larger diameter pipes up to 1 1/2 inches, making it the ideal choice for more demanding plumbing and pipefitting applications. The extended length provides greater leverage and torque for working with bigger pipes whilst maintaining excellent control. Manufactured from black oxidised and anti-rust treated high-alloyed, hardened special steel with precision induction hardened jaws, this wrench combines exceptional strength with corrosion resistance. The ergonomically designed handle features a soft, warm-to-the-touch, high friction surface with thermoplastic coating over tough polypropylene, ensuring superior grip and user comfort even during prolonged use. The patented progressive teeth are angled aggressively inwards, with fine teeth at the inner part of the jaws and larger teeth at the outer part, providing an excellent grip across all pipe sizes. Despite its larger capacity, the optimised narrower jaw design still allows access to cramped corners, whilst the inner handle incorporates built-in pinch protection and a safety stop for the adjusting nut.
