The Flex GE5R+TBL Giraffe Sander is a professional drywall sander designed for efficient finishing of walls and ceilings. This lightweight corded disc sander features a revolving edge segment that rotates with the machine's movement, enabling seamless processing of wall-to-wall and wall-to-ceiling surfaces without interrupting workflow. Built around proven FLEX Technology, this sander uses a flexible drive shaft to deliver reliable force transmission whilst minimising weight on the sanding head. The gimbal-mounted head provides a 110-degree tilt angle for optimum adjustment when working on different surfaces. At just 3.9kg and extending to 1520mm in length, the aluminium guide tube offers excellent manoeuvrability without compromising stability. Electronic controls include soft-start, overload protection, and variable speed selection via an adjuster wheel, with oscillating speeds ranging from 1100 to 1650 opm. The 225mm hook and loop pad system works in conjunction with an integrated brush ring to deliver effective dust extraction, preventing abrasive clogging and promoting cleaner working conditions.
