This 40 grit variant delivers aggressive material removal for heavy-duty sanding tasks. The coarse 40g grit grade is perfect for initial surface preparation, removing old finishes, and rapidly shaping wood or metal surfaces where substantial stock removal is required. These 75 x 533mm belts feature high-performance resin bonded aluminium oxide with electrostatic sand planting and open coat grain for excellent chip removal and heat dissipation. The special butt joint construction minimises vibration effects, ensuring smooth operation even during aggressive sanding, whilst the strong X-weight polycotton cloth backing provides the durability needed for demanding pressure applications. Each pack contains five belts, offering excellent value for workshop environments where frequent belt changes are necessary during intensive sanding projects. Compatible with all 75 x 533mm sanders including Stock No. 58287.
