The Draper D20MS185 is a cordless brushless sliding mitre saw designed for precise crosscutting, mitre work and bevel cutting in timber and sheet materials. Part of Draper's D20 20V battery platform, this 185mm saw combines the convenience of cordless operation with the power and efficiency of brushless motor technology, making it ideal for carpenters, joiners and contractors working on site or in the workshop. The brushless motor delivers reliable performance whilst extending runtime and tool life compared to traditional brushed motors. A laser cutting guide ensures accurate alignment for precise cuts, whilst the robust aluminium base provides a stable platform for demanding tasks. The saw offers 0-45° bevel cutting capability and features a sliding function to accommodate wider workpieces, with a compound cutting capacity of 50 x 210mm and mitre cutting up to 50 x 105mm. Despite its capabilities, the saw weighs just 9.5kg (bare tool), making it highly portable for site work. The bench-mountable design allows secure fixing when required, whilst the included workpiece clamp holds materials safely during cutting. A dust collection bag helps maintain a cleaner working environment. The saw is supplied with a 185 x 1.8mm TCT wood blade with 40 teeth, suitable for clean cuts in timber. D20 batteries and chargers are sold separately, allowing integration with existing D20 system tools.
