The DeWalt DT2440L 2x Life reciprocating saw blade set contains a mixture of blade types for a wide range of cutting jobs and is supplied with a durable storage container. The blades have a HSS (high speed steel) construction with added Cobalt for harder, stronger teeth with greater flex, delivering excellent cutting performance and long life. Fast and accurate cutting is made easier in wood applications thanks to the Plunge Point tip technology which pierces the wood and removes more material; additionally an aggressive shank angle increases tooth engagement in all materials and extends blade life. The metal cutting blades have a 14/18 tpi variable tooth geometry which reduces breakages in hard material. These blades feature DeWalt's Tough Coat technology which helps to reduce friction and heat build up during demanding applications.
