Description
The Draper SI12V is a cordless soldering iron designed for heating solder to attach or tin electrical components, cables and conductors. Part of Draper's 12V Power Interchange series, this soldering iron offers the flexibility and portability required for electrical work in locations without mains power access. This cordless soldering iron features a three-stop pivoting head that adjusts to 0, 45 and 90-degree angles, allowing electricians and maintenance engineers to work comfortably in tight spaces and awkward positions. The tool is equipped with a temperature indicator to monitor heat levels during operation, an integrated LED work light for improved visibility in dimly lit areas, and a capacity indicator to display remaining battery charge. The 12V interchangeable battery system provides compatibility across Draper's entire 12V tool range, enabling tradespeople to use a single battery platform for multiple tools. Batteries and chargers are sold separately as bare units. Note that this soldering iron is not compatible with Draper's 20V battery system, only with 12V batteries within the Power Interchange series.
