This comprehensive 16-piece socket extension and convertor set provides mechanics and automotive technicians with essential drive adaptors and extension bars across three imperial socket sizes. Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that has been correctly hardened and tempered, each component features a durable satin chrome plated finish for corrosion resistance and longevity. The set includes extension bars in 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" drives with varying lengths to reach recessed fasteners in tight engine bays and chassis work. Each extension bar incorporates a knurled ring section that provides extra grip when hand-tightening or loosening connections, particularly useful when working with oil-covered hands or in awkward positions. Three universal joints enable socket work at angles where direct access isn't possible, whilst the four drive convertors allow seamless switching between different socket drive sizes without changing the ratchet.
