This Extra Coarse grade diamond whetstone features a 220 grit, 60 micron abrasive surface, identified by its distinctive black colour. The Extra Coarse grade is designed for aggressive material removal and restoration of damaged or very dull edges. It's ideal for repairing chipped blades, reshaping edges, or initial sharpening of severely neglected tools before progressing to finer grades. The 150mm diamond surface provides substantial working area for efficient stock removal on larger blades and tools. Supplied in a practical plastic case with non-skid rubber feet, the whetstone remains stable during heavy sharpening work and the case base can be screw mounted to a workbench for a permanent sharpening station.
