Description
The Arctic Hayes IR99 3 In 1 Infrared Thermometer combines pipe, infrared and stem thermometer functions in a single versatile instrument, making it an essential diagnostic tool for heating engineers, plumbers and HVAC contractors. This multi-function thermometer delivers fast and accurate temperature readings with a response time of less than 1 second, enabling efficient system diagnostics and fault-finding. The infrared sensor measures temperatures from -35°C to +260°C, whilst the thermistor probe extends the lower range to -40°C, providing comprehensive coverage for both heating and refrigeration applications. The integrated pipe clamp opens to accommodate pipes up to 25mm (1 inch) diameter, allowing direct contact measurement on copper and plastic pipework without the need for separate attachments. Useful features include max/min recording for monitoring temperature fluctuations, data hold function for convenient reading capture, and automatic power off to preserve battery life. Measurement units can be switched between Celsius and Fahrenheit to suit user preference.
