Part of Makita's 18v LXT cordless platform, the DUX18 is a split shaft power head which was designed to be a basic, cost competitive model but with all the flexibility afforded by the Makita garden multi tool attachments. Compatible with accessories such as hedge trimmer, line trimmer, brush cutter and pole saw attachments, the DUX18 has a soft start brushless motor, electric brake, variable speed control, AFT technology and Constant Speed control to ensure consistent performance under load. Accessories can be attached and removed without need for additional tools.
