The weight of the battery means it can be placed freestanding on a worksurface and the head can be angled to direct light at the required area. Alternatively, The UniversalLamp 18 can be used as a handheld torch or suspended from a cord or fixture by using the integrated hanging hook. There are two brightness modes which can be cycled through by pressing the trigger.
