The Faithfull Black Silicone Tape is a self-fusing tape that creates an airtight and moisture-proof seal for a wide range of applications. Manufactured from high-quality silicone rubber compound, this self-bonding wrap adheres to itself when wrapped under tension, forming a non-conductive, air and watertight seal without the need for any adhesive. This versatile silicone tape performs reliably across extreme temperature ranges, remaining safe for use up to 260°C whilst staying flexible down to -50°C. During application, the tape stretches by up to 300% and conforms easily to irregular shapes, making it ideal for emergency repairs and sealing work on complex surfaces. The tape provides electrical insulation of up to 8000 Volts per unstretched layer and features a tensile strength of 600psi. As it contains no adhesive, it leaves no residue when removed and resists both UV light and weathering, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
