This 3mm diameter x 30mm length Forgefast Pozi Wood Screw in a pack of 200 delivers secure fixing for thicker timber sections in interior applications. The 30mm length provides excellent penetration depth for door frames, window linings, and substantial joinery components where a slender yet effective fixing is required. With a universally accepted Pozi-compatible drive, this screw incorporates six underhead lobes for improved countersinking with minimal surface dust. The reinforced countersunk neck enhances holding power throughout the fixing depth. An anti-friction thread reduces timber splitting, prevents jacking and spinning during assembly, and provides improved drawing strength. The serrated design enhances pull-out resistance whilst reducing insertion torque. The double cutting point allows faster drilling time with reduced wood dust clogging and is capable of piercing 0.8mm steel. Protected by the Elementech 400 coating, this screw offers anti-corrosive protection lasting up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings. The environmentally friendly coating contains no Cr6+ and is Salt Spray tested to 400 hours.
