This 4mm diameter x 30mm length Forgefast Pozi Wood Screw in a pack of 200 provides secure fixing for thicker timber sections with the enhanced strength of a 4mm diameter. The 30mm length is ideal for door frames, window installations, and substantial joinery work where robust fixing performance is required. Featuring a universally accepted Pozi-compatible drive, this screw incorporates six underhead lobes for improved countersinking and reduced surface dust. The reinforced countersunk neck enhances holding power. An anti-friction thread minimises timber splitting, prevents jacking and spinning during assembly, and provides improved drawing strength. The serrated design enhances pull-out resistance whilst reducing insertion torque. The double cutting point allows faster drilling time with reduced wood dust clogging and is capable of piercing 0.8mm steel. Protected by the Elementech 400 coating, this screw offers anti-corrosive protection lasting up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings. The environmentally friendly coating contains no Cr6+ and is Salt Spray tested to 400 hours.
