The recessed ribs provide improved countersinking and reduced surface dust, whilst the reinforced countersunk neck improves holding power for a secure fix. The patented drill and drive thread reduces timber splitting, eliminates 'jacking' and spinning of joined timber, and increases pull-out resistance. A sharp point provides faster bite and is capable of piercing 0.8mm steel. Protected by an advanced 'Elementech 400' coating, these screws offer anti-corrosive performance lasting up to 6 times longer than standard zinc coatings. The environmentally friendly coating contains no Cr6+ and is Salt Spray tested to 400 hours, making them suitable for interior use.
