This 4mm x 70mm variant is supplied in a pack of 600, offering extended reach for fixing substantial timber sections in interior applications. The 70mm length is particularly well-suited to heavy-duty joinery, structural timber work and applications requiring deep penetration. Featuring a Torx® compatible drive, these screws deliver excellent torque transmission whilst minimising the risk of cam-out. The recessed ribs provide improved countersinking and reduced surface dust, whilst the reinforced countersunk neck improves holding power for a secure fix. The patented drill and drive thread reduces timber splitting, eliminates 'jacking' and spinning of joined timber, and increases pull-out resistance. A sharp point provides faster bite and is capable of piercing 0.8mm steel. Protected by an advanced 'Elementech 400' coating, these screws offer anti-corrosive performance lasting up to 6 times longer than standard zinc coatings. The environmentally friendly coating contains no Cr6+ and is Salt Spray tested to 400 hours, making them suitable for interior use.
