Clark-Drain Manhole Cover Recessed - 10 Tonne x 450mm x 450mm x 80mm for 450mm Circular Chambers

The CLKS450SR is a square, recessed locking manhole cover that connects directly onto a 450mm inspection chamber. The internal recessed tray depth is 80mm ideal for block paving, concrete or slabs.The galvanised steel tray is covered by BS EN 1449:1991 and BS EN 1461:2009. The frame is made from strong AP9 grade polypropylene.Like all manhole covers, the size refers to the clear opening size in this case 450mm.The actual overall size of the cover and frame is 580mm x 580mm x 88mm (excluding the chamber locating rings). As the outlet connection is circular the cover itself can be rotated to match up with the paving pattern.This cover has a 10 Tonne load rating, which makes it suitable for domestic driveways and pedestrian areas. There are integral lifting handles tested to withhold a 120kg direct lift.This recessed manhole cover is made by Clark-Drain.
