The Vitax SBK Brushwood Killer in 500ml size is ideal for substantial gardens, smallholdings and sizeable areas requiring comprehensive woody weed control. This larger bottle provides excellent coverage for treating multiple problem zones affected by brambles, nettles, woody growth or several tree stumps throughout your property. Formulated with Triclopyr, this selective weedkiller is exceptionally effective on woody plants and brushwood whilst leaving grass completely unharmed. It's the perfect choice for land reclamation projects, maintaining boundaries and hedgerows, or clearing rights of way and neglected non-crop areas. The formula also delivers reliable control of difficult broadleaf weeds, particularly Creeping Charlie. For optimal effectiveness, apply between May and October when the soil is moist and weeds are actively growing. Woody weeds achieve best results from June to August applications. Tree stumps respond most successfully to treatment in Autumn or Winter, avoiding the April to June period when sap is rising. Always allow at least six weeks between application and any replanting activities.
