The Q Max 1 1/4" Sheet Metal Hole Punch is perfect for cutting large holes in sheet metal up to 16 gauge, making it ideal for substantial electrical conduit installations, larger cable management systems, and general fabrication work requiring generous apertures. This size offers excellent versatility for medium-to-heavy duty applications. Featuring heat-treated cutting edges with a black anti-corrosive surface finish, this punch provides reliable, long-lasting performance whilst resisting rust in demanding workshop conditions. The innovative design ensures even load distribution during cutting, producing burr-free holes that require no additional finishing. Operation is straightforward: drill a pilot hole large enough to clear the hexagonal screw, thread the die and screw through the sheet metal, then tighten the die nut to cut cleanly and evenly through the material. Supplied individually boxed without a key. This punch requires a Type B 5/16" hexagonal wrench, which should be ordered separately.
