The Q Max 3/8" Sheet Metal Hole Punch is ideal for cutting smaller diameter holes in sheet metal up to 16 gauge, making it perfect for light electrical work, small cable entry points, ventilation applications, and precision fabrication tasks. This compact size is particularly useful for detailed work requiring neat, smaller apertures. Featuring heat-treated cutting edges with a black anti-corrosive surface finish, this punch provides reliable performance whilst resisting rust in workshop environments. The special design ensures even load distribution during cutting, producing burr-free holes that require no additional finishing. To operate, drill a pilot hole large enough to clear the hexagonal screw, thread the die and screw through the sheet metal, then tighten the die nut to cut cleanly and evenly through the material. Supplied individually boxed without a key. This punch requires a 3/16" hexagonal wrench, which should be ordered separately.
