Description
The Q Max 7/16" Sheet Metal Hole Punch is perfect for cutting holes in sheet metal up to 16 gauge, making it ideal for smaller electrical installations, cable entry applications, ventilation work, and light-to-medium fabrication tasks. This size offers excellent versatility for applications requiring apertures between three-eighths and half-inch diameters. Featuring heat-treated cutting edges with a black anti-corrosive surface finish, this punch provides reliable, long-lasting performance whilst resisting rust in workshop environments. The special design ensures even load distribution during cutting, producing burr-free holes that need no additional finishing. To use, drill a pilot hole large enough to clear the hexagonal screw, thread the die and screw through the sheet metal, then tighten the die nut to cut cleanly and evenly through the material. Supplied individually boxed without a key. This punch requires a 3/16" hexagonal wrench, which should be ordered separately.
