Description
The Q Max 7/8" Sheet Metal Hole Punch is designed for cutting mid-to-large diameter holes in sheet metal up to 16 gauge, making it ideal for electrical conduit installations, larger cable management applications, HVAC work, and general fabrication projects. This size is particularly useful for applications requiring holes approaching one inch in diameter. Manufactured with heat-treated cutting edges and a protective black anti-corrosive surface finish, this punch delivers exceptional durability whilst resisting rust in challenging workshop environments. Its special design distributes load evenly during cutting, producing burr-free holes that eliminate the need for additional finishing work. To operate, drill a pilot hole large enough to clear the hexagonal screw, thread the die and screw through the sheet metal, then tighten the die nut to cut cleanly and evenly through the material. This punch is supplied individually boxed without a key. It requires a 7/32" hexagonal wrench, which should be ordered separately. Features and Benefits: • 7/8" hole diameter for larger professional applications • Heat-treated cutting edges provide long-lasting performance • Black anti-corrosive finish ensures workshop durability • Creates burr-free holes with no finishing required • Compatible with 7/32" hexagonal wrench Specifications: Punch Type: Imperial Diameter (in): 7/8 Key Type: 7/32in Hex Key Pilot Drill (in): 11/32
