A membrane such as this has long been specified by marine engineers, civil engineers and landscape contractors for use in stabilising soil and aggregate layers.Made by weaving individual threads or tapes of material on a loom to create a large sheet, woven Geotextiles are ideal for soil separation and stabilising. This particular membrane is extremely useful when constructing land drains or soakaway systems. Woven geotextile membranes have a higher load rating due to their additional strength. They are also commonly used for the reinforcement of aggregate layers beneath roads and tracks, providing a separating layer which prevents ruts from forming.Also available in a 4.5 metre x 100 metre roll.
