This 115mm, 40 grit aluminium oxide flap disc is ideal for rapid material removal and coarse grinding applications where aggressive stock removal is required. The 40g grit rating makes it particularly effective for initial weld preparation, heavy rust removal and shaping work on ferrous metals. Supplied as a single disc, this variant is perfect for occasional users or specific one-off tasks. The premium resin-bonded construction combines with strong X-weight polyester-cotton backing to deliver consistent performance under demanding conditions. The T-29 conical shape with 15–25 degree angled flaps provides excellent contact on both flat surfaces and contoured edges, whilst the 22.23mm bore ensures compatibility with standard 115mm angle grinders.
