This 115mm diameter, 40 grit flap disc provides aggressive material removal for heavy-duty metalwork applications. The coarse 40 grit abrasive is perfect for rapid stock removal, heavy derusting, removing weld spatter, and initial surface preparation where speed and efficiency are paramount. Constructed from aluminium oxide with epoxy-bonded flaps attached to a rigid disc, this flap disc requires no backing pad and is ready to use immediately. The depressed centre design ensures safe, controlled operation whilst providing excellent access to difficult areas. Compatible with both electric and air-powered angle grinders, it tackles the toughest descaling, derusting, weld preparation, weld cleaning and general surface preparation tasks with ease.
